How Internet Is A Revolution On Publishing?

At the early days of the internet there was a universal perception that content on the web should be free. But the problem was that there was not any company that is helping these webs to update. So thousands of content websites stopped being updated or were closed down. But later big changes happened, the internet users started accepting that if they wanted quality content, they would have to pay for it just as they do in the print world.
The web has seen continuing growth in the number of individuals posting opinions, stories, and news on personal sites and blogs. Indeed, David Sifry, CEO of Technorati, report on his own blog that the so-called ‘blogosphere’ has doubled in size approximately every five months since March 2003. He records the number of blogs has risen to about eight million. With thirty-to-forty thousand new blogs being created every day the expansion looks set to continue. blogs are now a very imprtant source of the online news.
And it’s not just individuals who have been jumping on the internet bandwagon; industry and academia are following suit, publishing more research and information on the web than ever before and reaching out to the widest audience in the shortest time.

These days publishing is on the internet and we can print the news or anything else on our own papers at home. Eveything is developing and is making us more comfortable, on the internet instead of reading one magazine or one side of view, we can check all the news published on the same day!!!!
