The Xm2go is so convenient and very easy to use:
1- The Display screen: it's a LCD screen.
2-The IR-Lens: this is where you aim your remote control, the Xm2go comes with it's own remote control which makes it very handy .
3- 2go button: is just one click and let's u store up to 5 hours of your favorite songs and your chosen programs .

4- Power button: This is like any other device, just press on it and keeps holding it until the device is turned on or turned off .
5- Mode Button: This button is to help you to switch easily from your "Live" XM which are the radio stations, to your "My XM" which is the programs and songs you have chosen to store , so no more going into the main menu and getting confused on what to do, it's just one click away.
6- Dial: the dial button has several purposes, first purpose is to highlight a channel or menu option, this is by done by rotating it, then you push it to select the channel of your choice or program, and u hold it down for about 2 seconds to go to Tune Select.
7- Arrow Buttons: this button facilitates everything, just to manage your way around in the channel categories and to skip from one song to another song.
8- Menu Button: clicking on this button takes you where you can customize all the options that the Xm2go has to offer you and access all the features.
9- Preset/direct button: it's called the preset button because by clicking on it, it takes you to you 30 presents, and direct button because gives u the opportunity to select between the direct channel entries.
10- Memory Button: when you want to save a song or an artists name, you click on this button to do so, and also after saving this, by clicking on this button it takes you to your saved programs .
11- Number keys: after saving your favorite channels : for example if you like the rolling stones, you save they're song on number 1, clicking on the number key 1, will take you to it.
12- Volume buttons: this button can only be used when the headphones are plugged in, this will Lower or raise the volume.
13- Mute/pause/lock button: by pressing once on it- you mute the audio and/or pause the playback. By pressing and holding this will automatically lock or unlock your controls.
14- Display Button: this will give u the chance to change your whole display appearance, according to what u find best. For example choosing to put the sports scores on the main screen.
